Holmes Mackillop bowls over Giffnock Club with Spring Triples competition sponsorship
With the season now underway and the greens open for play, Giffnock Bowling Club has been bowled over by the generous sponsorship from the local branch of Holmes Mackillop, Solicitors for its ever-popular Spring Triples competition which is being played on Saturday 16th May.
Carol Ann McKellar, practice manager at Holmes Mackillop, said: “As a long-term supporter of Giffnock Bowling Club, this year we committed to extend our reach into the local community by increasing our sponsorship package for this popular club.
“As well as sponsoring the prize money for the upcoming Spring Triples event, we’ll be doing the same for the Annual Gents Pairs and Ladies Triples competitions in recognition of the important role the club plays within the local community.”
Giffnock Bowling Club Treasurer Iain McDougall added: “We’re thrilled by the continued support from Holmes Mackillop, which helps us thrive through their advertising support and prize money sponsorship.”
In addition to competition sponsorship, Holmes Mackillop supports Giffnock Bowling Club by taking space on advertising boards both greenside and within the clubhouse as well as its members’ handbook offering members a 10% discount.
Founded in 1895 by dedicated locals, Giffnock Bowling Club has remained at the heart of the community for over 130 years.
