About Lauren
Lauren qualified as a Conveyancing Paralegal in May 2023, bringing over 15 years’ experience in residential property work, with a particular focus on high‑volume remortgage transactions.
Prior to joining Holmes Mackillop, Lauren spent an extensive time at a Glasgow-based firm acting for lenders, developing a strong understanding of lender requirements, title issues, and fast-paced transaction management.
She had a gained a broad knowledge across all residential conveyancing matters before progressing to Holmes Mackillop and combines practical expertise with a detail-oriented and client-focused approach, ensuring transactions are handled efficiently and in line with both lender and regulatory expectations.
Outside of work, enjoys spending time with family, maintaining an active lifestyle through regular gym sessions, and participating in long-distance running.

About Olivia
Olivia McCue joined Holmes Mackillop in September 2023 as an Administrative Assistant while completing her studies. She commenced her traineeship with the firm in June 2026 and is currently based in our Giffnock office.
Olivia graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2025 with an Honours degree in Scots Law. She subsequently completed the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde in 2026.

About Paula
Paula joined Holmes Mackillop in 2025 as an Associate in the firm’s Giffnock office. Paula qualified as a Solicitor in 2022 after completing her Traineeship specialising in Buying and Selling Your Home. She now works in part of the firm’s residential conveyancing team and has an extensive knowledge of Property Law, specialising in all aspects of purchasing and selling property, transfers of title, discharging standard securities and re-mortgages.

About Ken
Ken is a solicitor in our Giffnock office. His practice covers all aspects of Private Client work including Wills, the formation and management of Trusts and particularly the administration of executry estates. He advises clients on succession and Capital Tax planning with particular emphasis on rural property and investments. Ken also deals with incapacity issues including Powers of Attorney.
Ken holds degrees in Land Economy and Law and has completed the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management.
