About Aidan
Aidan joins the firm’s Glasgow office in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation department, supporting a wide range of matters, including employment law, family law, commercial and debt recovery court actions.
Graduating from the University of Aberdeen with a degree in Scots and English Law, he proceeded to complete the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the same institution.
During his traineeship, he will also gain experience across the private client, property, and corporate departments.

About Katie
Katie Maguire joins the Glasgow office’s Dispute Resolution and Litigation department where she will support clients across a variety of areas including family law, employment law, debt recovery, and various other court actions.
Katie graduated from the University of Glasgow with a First-Class Honours in Scots Law and Politics and continued at the university for her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice.
During her traineeship she will have the opportunity to work alongside the firm’s private client, property, and corporate departments.

About Sam
Sam Hamilton joined Holmes Mackillop in early 2024 as an Administrative Assistant while completing his studies. Currently based in the Glasgow office, he is starting his traineeship in the Wills, Estates and Future Planning team, gaining experience on the administration of Estates as well as on the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney and Trust Matters.
Sam graduated in 2025 with a First-Class Honours degree in Scots Law from the University of Strathclyde where he subsequently completed the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in 2026.

About Olivia
Olivia McCue joined Holmes Mackillop in September 2023 as an Administrative Assistant while completing her studies. She commenced her traineeship with the firm in June 2026 and is currently based in our Giffnock office.

Sophie joined our Property Team in Glasgow as a legal assistant in January 2025, before commencing her Traineeship in June 2025.

About Robyn
Robyn joined the Holmes Mackillop team in August 2025 as a trainee solicitor based in our Ayr office. She is currently working within the Buying and Selling Your Home team, where she will gain experience in a range of residential matters. During her traineeship, she will also gain experience across our Commercial Property, Corporate and Wills, Estates and Future Planning departments.
Robyn graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2024 with a Scots Law degree, before undertaking the Diploma in Professional legal practice at the University of Glasgow in 2025. Alongside her studies, Robyn also worked as a HR Assistant with North Ayrshire Council before joining our team.
Outside of work, Robyn enjoys running and playing padel. She also enjoys travelling and her favourite destination she has visited is Vietnam.

About Anisah
Before joining our Glasgow office as a Trainee Solicitor in 2025, Anisah graduated from the University of Aberdeen with First-Class Honours in the LLB Law with English Law and International Exchange degree. She also worked as a Law Tutor before undertaking her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow.
Anisah is currently part of our Corporate team, where she supports a range of corporate transactional matters. During her traineeship, she will also gain experience across our Property, Wills, Estates and Future Planning, and Dispute Resolution and Litigation departments.

Ellie first joined Holmes Mackillop in 2023 and worked as an administrative assistant during her Summer and Winter breaks from University, before beginning her traineeship in our Glasgow Office in June 2025.
