Six-strong Holmes Mackillop team to take on Kelpies Challenge fundraiser for St Vincents Hospice
A six-strong team from Holmes Mackillop Solicitors is set to take on the Kelpies Challenge – a one-of-a-kind 1.5-hour assault course set high within the iconic heads of the world-famous Kelpies to raise funds for St Vincents Hospice.
Sunday 26th October will see Carole Johnston, Mark Joseph, Hannah McKay, Ellie MacDonald, Sam Hamilton and Abbie Watt embark on an exciting adventure that will push their limits, test their nerves, and thrill their senses, all while raising vital funds for the incredible care provided by St Vincent’s Hospice.
The hospice is a charitable organisation dedicated to delivering compassionate, specialist care to individuals living with life-limiting illnesses. Serving communities across Renfrewshire and parts of North Ayrshire, it offers a range of services including inpatient care, community nursing, day services, and bereavement support.
Their person-centred approach ensures that care is tailored to the needs and preferences of patients and their families, while spiritual and pastoral support is provided to reflect the diverse backgrounds of those they serve.
Carole Johnston, director and head of Holmes Mackillop’s Johnstone office, said: “As a charity, St Vincent’s Hospice relies on the generosity of volunteers, donors, and supporters to continue providing this essential care. Here at Holmes Mackillop, we are proud to support the wonderful work they do.
“We would welcome your support. Your generosity will help this fantastic charity continue their vital services and will give us the encouragement to keep climbing – even when our legs are shaking!”
